CMS Sizing Chart ECE 22.05 Standard and Racing
Important!
Measuring your head: Take a cloth sewing tape measure and measure about 1 inch above your eyebrows and record it. Take two or three measurements and average them.
When fitted properly, your eyebrows should move up and down when moving the helmet up and down. You'll know if its too loose but sometimes its difficult to determine if it is too tight. The helmet should not press tightly on the cheeks or brows. Remember that the helmet liner will "bed" in to fit the shape of your head and facial features over time.

Helmet Specifications Matrix lists the specs for each CMS helmet model that we offer. If you do not see the details that you're interested in please contact us and we'll be happy to explain.
Note that MotoAuthentics offers replacement helmet visors in clear, smoke, blue, mirror and Irridium coatings, along with Anti-Scratch and Anti-Fog finishes as well. The GP4 and GP5 and GP5 - F helmets use the same visor. All visors are DOT and ECE 22.05 approved, same as the visors shipped with the helmet.
Spare parts are also available for both Street and Dirt models. Parts includes sideplates, screws, off-road helmet peaks, chin vents, top vents, liners and cheekpads.
Helmet and Visor Care: Helmets and visors are simple to care for.
The best cleaning solution for the helmet shell is warm water. Do not use alchohol based products on the helmet shell or visor!
- Wet a cotton towel with warm water and drape it over the helmet shell and visor.
- Wait about 10 minutes and wipe the helmet clean of bug stains and dirt.
- Dry with another cotton towel.
- If the helmet has a removable liner, remove the liner and hand-wash with a gentle detergent like Woolite. Rinse and air dry the liner, do not put it into the dryer!
- If the liner is non-removable, damp wash the liner inside the helmet with a cotton towel soaked in Woolite. Towel pat-dry and let set to air-dry the remainder of the way.
- Store the helmet inside your home to minimize subjecting the helmet to temperature and humidity variation.
Visor Care: Do not use dish soap, glass cleaner or other grime removal solutions. Do not use paper towel or articles of clothing to wipe the visor. These will eventually scratch the micro thin coatings applied to the visor surfaces.
